After leaving their day jobs, Alex and Mohammed invested heavily to build a comprehensive self-updating database of business executives, owners, and accredited professionals around the world. Initially, they sold custom data to franchise brands expanding internationally.
They soon began creating copy that would resonate with these audiences at the request of customers. Next came running campaigns and developing a proprietary system to deliver, track, and fulfill lead packages.
Word spread quickly that these leads were different…they actually turned into sales!
And the rest, they say, is history. Fast forward to now, Prospect Direct has delivered over 100,000 leads, run thousands of campaigns, and are now one of the fastest growing lead generation companies in the world.

Alex began Prospect Direct to solve what he viewed as widespread inefficiency with the franchise sales process. As VP of International Development for a 400+ unit franchise chain, he experienced firsthand the time, effort, and expense required to find and nurture qualified prospects. After teaming up with Mohammed, the vision was born for a data-driven marketing machine that could deliver a constant stream of the highest quality leads to clients worldwide.
Connie leads Prospect Direct’s sales team, where she establishes and maintains relationships with new clients and strategic partners. Prior to joining Prospect Direct, Connie spent over 13 years in business development closing hundreds of deals for franchisors like Dunkin Brands and Which Wich. Connie utilizes her in-depth franchise knowledge to help clients identify their target audience and ultimately close deals with ideal franchisees.
Mohammed leads the technology and research side of Prospect Direct and is the architect of the engine behind the lead gen machine. He oversees a team of developers tasked with providing clean data and rich features that are intuitive for customers. Prior to Prospect Direct, he developed innovative software for Fortune 500 companies such as American Airlines, Sprint, and Delphi.
David is another franchise industry veteran who spent much of his career in various management roles at TGI Friday’s prior to joining Prospect Direct in 2019. He is responsible for lead flow and fulfillment to customers, maintaining technology and software platforms, and leading a team of lead analysts and system administrators.
Trista Wyly is the face behind the wheel of our sales engine - she keeps things moving! Prior to joining Prospect Direct, Trista spent over 15 years in franchising and development for Which Wich, Hooters, and Brinker International. Trista is responsible for onboarding, ongoing training and sales support while supporting existing customers.
Gonesh leads a team of data specialists that support the research side of the business. Clean and accurate data is a major part of Prospect Direct’s secret sauce, allowing for precise audience targeting. While plenty of software elements are present to process and automate most steps, Gonesh is the key human eye that makes sure things are flowing smoothly and exceptions are being managed.
Sumon Bhatta joined Prospect Direct in 2019, and specializes in keeping the lead flow moving by reviewing organic responses on franchise accounts. He also maintains SQL database records to ensure proper audience rotation and targeting are maintained.
Angelie Duno is central to keeping Prospect Direct’s targeted audiences moving into campaigns and determining if initial responses are worthy of being deemed a lead. She manages a team of lead taggers that categorize organic responses using specific criteria that maintain high lead quality standards.
Shann joined Prospect Direct in 2024 and specializes in client onboarding, CRM integration, and supporting the sales and operations teams. She manages QA & process improvement projects – and is also a great singer!

New data goes through a 26-step hygiene process. Key fields are verified by at least two sources, and emails are 3X bounce checked.
Each contact in the targeted audience is checked against live social profiles before campaigns are launched, to verify company and title.
